In 2002, Alma opened its doors under the auspice of Chef Gary Jacobson. Carrying on his tradition, Chef Hans Dannerhoj continues to create sophisticated and memorable cuisine. Guests flock to the roof deck year-round for brunch and dinner. The roof deck is heated in the winter and open air in the summer with unrivaled panoramic views of Manhattan. b61 Bar
Named after the city bus that goes down Columbia Street, B61 is a neighborhood bar at heart. Whether you're waiting for a table at Alma or you're a regular enjoying a Tavern Lemonade while playing ping pong with friends, B61 provides a cozy, inviting atmosphere. Situated on the ground floor, just beneath Alma, B61 boasts an enormous bar made of American Walnut and handcrafted columns that bring to mind Irish pubs of yesteryears. Try one of our 12 beers on tap while taking in the view of the Manhattan skyline through the airy, ceiling-high windows. B61 also offers bar fare separate from the Alma menu as well as a diverse juke box, pinball, and free billiards.
